A specialised program created by an Occupational Therapist and a Fitness Instructor to support children and young adults with intellectual disabilities.Â
Our series of videos include carefully curated sessions that build essential skills like coordination, core strength, balance, and endurance, tailored to meet your child or young adult’s unique needs.
Each series also includes occupational therapist-led guidance for parents and carers, providing essential strategies to support successful use of the videos by addressing common challenges faced by individuals with intellectual disabilities.Â
Each activity promotes body awareness, sensory regulation and cognitive development, fostering confidence, motivation and a positive relationship with physical activity.
The Kids Coach for people with an Intellectual Disability is more than just exercise. It’s a pathway to enhanced physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, supporting your child or young adult’s lifelong growth and enjoyment in movement.
